Brothers In Arms is intended as a feature film crime saga that weaves intersecting characters with competing motivations and loyalties. It takes aim at the trials and desperation of reconnecting broken family against near impossible odds.
The completed *award-winning Brothers In Arms short film is a stand-alone film in its own right, but more a visual snapshot to showcase the feature film story world, characters, and LA setting of a story drama that demands its eventual longer feature story to be properly told. The completed short film sets the stage for the greater story to come, and teases how the intended feature film will propel its conflicts, relationships, and plot, to dramatic effect.
There is a possible alternative arc to have the feature film story made as an original series befitting of HBO Max, Netflix, Apple TV+, FX, AMC, or networks prone for this brand of genre entertainment, with a series-ending cinematic feature release.

The rigors of divided family by diverse characters, enmeshed in criminal mystique, make this a timely feature story with universal appeal. Portrayals of diversity have enjoyed a heightened and long overdue exposure in the arts of late. Brothers In Arms is rooted as dramatic entertainment, but takes greater aim to examine how we can begin or belong to something, yet evolve into something else, and the collateral impact that process has on the people that bind us. The narrative sees Italians, Latinos, Black Americans, Native Americans, and male and female authority figures combining and clashing upon mutually realized fates.
The impactful characters, their motivations, and their casting, intend to promote wide audience interest. The film’s themes of family, redemption, and duty to kin, will resonate with vast audiences who will self-identify with the narrative convictions at play. The completed short film sees much unresolved, while the feature storyline further sees fateful conclusions. Viewers will joyously wrestle with the reality that those in shadow are not altogether dark, while those in the light can't help but steer into darkness.
